Netcare Akeso Montrose Manor can have a maximum of 21 clients at any time. This allows us to give each client full attention.
We offer a warm, home-like setting that fosters deep healing with 24-hour medical supervision and therapeutic support. Run by our collaborative, expert multidisciplinary team our eating disorder recovery programme provides specialised components with your recovery in mind. We also offer family-inclusive therapy and education, as well as comprehensive aftercare for long-term recovery, ensuring that support for your recovery is ongoing.
Yes, Netcare Akeso Montrose Manor is licensed by the South African Department of Health and registered with the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF).
The comprehensive residential treatment programme is offered for 12 weeks.
Our programme offers three phases that support your recovery journey. This includes supervised meals and snacks with dietetic support, medical and psychiatric assessments, individual and group therapy including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and emotional regulation skills, family therapy, exposure therapy, expressive arts therapy, body image and movement therapy, psychoeducation, and comprehensive relapse prevention and discharge planning.
We work closely with most South African medical schemes which may cover your admissions as part of the prescribed minimum benefits. Private fees are available on request. We can assist with the documents that international insurance providers may require.
